From Home Lessons to a Dedicated Atelier

The story of Andelino Art Studio begins humbly.

Over 20 years ago, Jheng Marzan began teaching art one student at a time. Not in a formal classroom, but in the living rooms and bedrooms of students’ homes.

At first, it was just about sharing skills: how to observe, draw, and understand materials. But soon, it became something more—a practice of patient mentorship, steady guidance, and real artistic growth.

Parents noticed the difference. Their children were not just producing art, they were thinking critically, experimenting, and gaining confidence. Word spread, and slowly a small, trusted community formed.

The Growth of a Community

From those early home visits, a network of families began to support Jheng Marzan and his teaching.

These were not casual endorsements. They were a commitment to a process that valued patience, observation, and creative experimentation over instant results.

Over the years, students returned, younger siblings joined, and families recommended the studio to friends. Through this consistent trust, a dedicated studio space eventually became a reality—a place where young artists could work seriously, side by side, under expert guidance.

A Studio Built on Long Term Relationships

Today, Andelino Art Studio is more than a studio. It is a community shaped by two decades of relationships.

Students grow with careful attention from Jheng Marzan, while parents witness the slow but profound transformation in their children’s skills, confidence, and creative thinking.

The studio’s walls tell the story of years of experimentation, learning, and growth. A documentary of the students’ journeys as much as the studio’s own evolution.

From Beginner to IB Visual Arts Student

The studio specializes in mentoring students preparing for International Baccalaureate Visual Arts (SL and HL) programs.

What makes Andelino unique is its atelier approach, inherited from decades of one-on-one tutoring:

Individual guidance tailored to each student

Emphasis on process, experimentation, and reflection

Development of conceptual understanding alongside technical skills

For parents, this means their children are supported in a structured, yet flexible learning environment that mirrors real-world artistic practice.

Gratitude to the Families Who Made It Possible

Every success of the studio is built on two decades of trust from families and students.

Without their support, the journey from home tutoring to a thriving atelier would not have been possible. Every student who walks through the studio doors is part of a story that began long before—a story of dedication, patience, and shared belief in the transformative power of art.

Continuing the Legacy

The story continues with every new student. Each young artist contributes to the ongoing journey of the studio, learning not just how to draw or paint, but how to think, observe, and explore creatively.

Parents joining the studio today are stepping into a legacy that has been carefully nurtured over 20 years. Their support becomes part of a community where growth, curiosity, and mentorship are valued above all else.
