Our Story

The Studio grew slowly over many years through thr trust of students and families who valued thoughtful artistic learning.

The Studio grew slowly over many years through thr trust of students and families who valued thoughtful artistic learning.

Every studio begins with a simple intention.

For this one, it began with the desire to help young artists learn how to observe the world carefully and express their ideas through drawing and creative exploration.

The first lessons were not held in a formal studio. They began as small art sessions taught in students' homes, where a few young learners gathered to draw, experiment with materials, and explore their curiosity about art.

Over time, more families began sharing their experiences with others.

Through word-of-mouth, the small lessons slowly grew into a consistent community of students interested in developing their artistic abilities.

The Studio eventually became a dedicated space for artistic learning.

The Studio is guided by artist and mentor Jheng Marzan, whose teaching has shaped the artistic development of many young students over the past two decades.

His approach emphasizes patience, observation, and long tern-term creative growth.

Rather than focusing on quick results, the studio encourages students to build their skills gradually.

Learning to draw and think visually requires time, attention, and sustained effort.

Mentorship happens through close observation and thoughtful guidance.

Students in the studio come from different school and backgrounds, but they share a common interest in learning how to draw, experiment with materials, and explore ideas through art.

Many students remain in the studio for several years.

During this time they develop stronger technical skills, deeper creative thinking, and greater confidence in their work.

The atmosphere of the studio is intentionally calm and focused.

Students are encouraged to slow down, observe carefully, and give their work the attention it deserves.

Artistic development rarely happens quickly.

Instead, it unfolds gradually as students practice drawing, explore materials, and reflect on their ideas over time.

Although students work independently, they share the studio with others who are also learning. This quiet community often becomes a source of motivation and inspiration.

Parents who support their child’s creative interests play an important role in this process.

Encouraging curiosity and allowing time for exploration can help young artists grow with confidence.

Today the studio continues to welcome students who are interested in developing their artistic discipline through thoughtful practice and long-term mentorship.

Each new group of students brings fresh ideas and perspectives.

The studio continues to grow gradually while remaining committed to its original purpose helping young artists develop their skills and creative voices.

Families who feel that this approach aligns with their child’s interests are welcome to learn more about the studio.

“Artistic growth begins with curiosity, patience, and the willingness to keep exploring.”
